Here is a review from one of my customers for the pictures I’ve taken for her and her family here in Scottsdale over the years. So grateful.
Thanks Cynthia!
Jon

“Jon has been doing what he does best for many years. I did my first photo shoot with him about 9 years ago, the pictures came out great and he was such a pleasure to work with. Fast forward to last April, I wanted to get some awesome pics of my daughter. I’m not into studio pictures at Sears or Target, so i knew i had to have Jon for the job. I traveled down to phoenix from vegas to get my shots, and let me tell you, it was WELL worth it! I LOVE my pictures of her! He really knows how to capture the moment. He was having so much fun with my daughter and made her smile, laugh, and really made her feel comfortable. He is not only a great photographer, he’s a really great person. A few months later, I referred my girlfriend to Jon for a maternity photo shoot. After the shoot she told me she was thrilled with the pictures. I was glad, because after all, I was the one who recommended him. When i finally got to see her slideshow of pics from her shoot, I was BLOWN away!! Jon’s creativity surpassed anything I had ever seen in a maternity shoot before. the shots were simply amazing! Oh, and the cherry on top of all of this, is that his rates are so darn reasonable! you will NOT be disappointed!” – Cynthia

Domonic – Yearly Family Photo session with www.jonsimpson.com – Scottsdale, Arizona
It is hard to believe it has been a year since I shot Domonic last. It is such fun to see my family photo session subjects grow and change. Since they are familiar with me, they seem to get comfortable being in the spotlight more and more each session. As you will see… Domonic really sparkles in this photo session. It is also special that we had the session at the Zoo.. which made him really light up.

Senior Photo Session Video
Here is a sample video from of one of my Senior Photo Sessions. First I collaborate with the subject on locations, makeup, hair and outfits. After the photo session, I also work with the subject on possible music choices for their slideshow. After editing the session down to its top images….and adding a few select moments of video…we screen the session at my studio projected fifteen feet across in surround sound.
The slideshow is posted on the web for all of the family to enjoy, and full resolution DVDs can also be ordered afterwards.
Enjoy this sample video in fullscreen with the sound cranked up!

A Family Video
Here is a great sample of one of my family slideshow videos. My new slideshows have a wonderful blending of some live footage mixed in. A lot of fun! Enjoy!

The Movie is Finished!
Since 2007 I have been documenting the moving of Sandra Day O’Connors family home. It was slated for destruction, and when I learned it was going to be saved and moved I mentioned that I would love to see a documentary about HOW they are going to do that.? They then asked me to make that movie!
What an honor. To get the chance to meet and document Justice O’Connor on many different occasions. Not to mention also take some fantastic pictures of the process.
The film is now in the hands of the Rio Salado Foundation who now are now the caretakers of the home and distribute the short documentary by yours truly.
In May, Vice President Biden was in town and he stopped by the house for a tour and was handed a DVD of my film signed by Justice O’Connor!
